Karen Blaha

Karen Blaha received a BS from the University of Missouri in 2008 and a PhD from the University of Virginia in 2013 both in Chemical Engineering. Her work focuses on the dynamics of coupled oscillators. Outside of the lab she is an avid photographer, artist and water polo player..

Fabio Della Rossa

Fabio Della Rossa obtained the first-level degree in Mathematical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in 2006, with a thesis on the Analysis of the Three-Body Problem, in which he has performed a continuation analysis of some orbits using ad-hoc original methods. Two years later, he obtained the Master Degree in Mathematical Engineering with a thesis on Methods and Models for Traffic Analysis, selected for the French Grand Paris competition. In 2011 he obtained the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Control Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis on Bifurcation Methods of complex systems, containing, among others, applications in love dynamics, vehicular dynamics and ecology. During his PhD he spent one year at the Department of Mathematics, Utrecht University, The Netherlands, working on numerical continuation methods with Professor Yuri A. Kuznetsov. After the PhD he has a post-doc fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where he became assistant professor in 2014. From 2018 he is research assistant at UNM.

Afroza Shirin

I am a graduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at UNM. My research interests are in nonlinear dynamical systems, complex networks, network of neurons and their control and stability analysis. I previously studied Mathematics at University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In future I would like to have a research based job. My dream is to work in any national research laboratory in US.

Shirin Panahi

Shirin Panahi received her BS degree in Electrical Engineering at Sadjad University of Technology in 2014, M.S. in 2016, and Ph.D. in 2020 both in bioelectrical engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology. Her research interests include complex dynamical networks, nonlinear dynamics, chaotic biological modeling, neuroscience, and neural network.

Isaac Samuel Klickstein

I completed my bachelors in mechanical engineering at the University of New Mexico. I am currently pursuing my doctoral studies in mechanical engineering at the University of New Mexico as well. My field of study has been in the control of complex networks. I have applied my work towards both concrete networks such as attitude control of spacecraft as well as more abstract dynamics that describe general systems.

Abu Bakar Siddique

I am a Ph.D. student of Mechanical Engineering at UNM. I completed my MS in Mechanical Engineering from UNM and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. My research is to study various complex networks, hyper networks under different dynamics. I like cycling, playing cricket, soccer, and travel new locations.

Anna Di Meglio

She obtained the first-level degree in Management Engineering (Logistic and Production curriculum) at University of Naples, Federico II in 2013 and the Master Degree in Management Engineering in the same university in 2015 with a thesis, named "Artificial financial markets: modeling of partial rational investors", in which she models the financial choices of investors that are characterized by cognitive bias and partial irrational behaviours. Currently, she is PhD student at Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Department of University of Naples Federico II and since her thesis, her research activity concerns the modelling and control of complex networks..

Danny Irving

I am a graduate student studying mechanical engineering at UNM. My research interests are primarily in dynamical systems and mathematical network analysis. I previously studied mathematics at NMT where I studied the topology of dynamical systems. My hobbies include rock-climbing, snowboarding, traveling, and trying all the fantastic beer and food that Albuquerque has on offer. My professional aspirations are sort of broad and a bit up in the air. One one hand, I would love to work in research at a national laboratory like Sandia or LANL; on the other hand, I would love to work in the foreign service, maybe as an engineer with USAID.

Dionicio F. Rios

I am a first year graduate student studying mechanical engineering at the University of New Mexico. I graduated from UNM in December 2012 with a B.S. in ME and a B.A. in Spanish. Many fields of study are of my interest. Recently I began to involve myself with dynamical systems, which seem to be promising for future applications. I have performed research on alternative energy and material sciences from which I have gained both knowledge and experience. Some of my hobbies include playing soccer, supporting my teams, running and spending time with my two puppies.

Ryan Burrus

I received my undergraduate degree from UNM in mechanical engineering and began working full time for Raytheon upon graduation.  This summer I began my research in mechanical oscillator networks.  My other academic interests include shock and vibrations.  I am married to my high school sweetheart and have 2 young sons.  I also rock climb, hunt, fish and run my own small blacksmithing business making custom ironwork. graduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at UNM.
Sumit Chhabria

I am currently Masters Student in ECE department at University of New Mexico. I did my undergraduate in Electrical Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, India. My research interest is in Optimal control and Complex systems. My hobbies are Photography, playing soccer.
Shakeeb Ahmad

I completed my undergrad in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. Currently, I am doing my Masters from ECE department at University of New Mexico. My academics have been more of a practical nature. I love anything related to UAVs. In this lab I am working on the experiments and study of interactions between metronomes in different configurations. Other than academics I like hiking and playing cricket.
Ishan Kafle

Coming from the mountains of Nepal, I am a Master's student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I completed my undergraduate studies from Kathmandu University, Nepal.
